HCMC – Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed off on a VND2.2-trillion project for construction and infrastructure development at the Nghia Hung Industrial Park in Bac Giang Province.
The project will be developed by Gilimex Bac Giang Industrial Park Corporation. Spanning an area of 148.68 hectares, the total investment cost of the project is VND2.2 trillion, with VND330 billion to be contributed by the investor.
The operational period is set for 50 years from the date of investment approval.
The development will take place in Dao My and Nghia Hung communes, Lang Giang District. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months of the Government handing over the land.
In 2024, Bac Giang attracted over US$2.23 billion in investment, securing its position as the 11th most attractive investment destination in Vietnam. The province primarily draws foreign direct investment (FDI) into electronics manufacturing, assembly, textiles, and logistics.
To date, investors from more than 30 countries and territories have contributed to Bac Giang’s development, solidifying its status as a key investment hub in northern Vietnam.
