FRANKFURT – The Ambiente Frankfurt Fair, a major global exhibition for consumer goods and gifts, has opened in Germany, with 4,660 exhibitors from various countries and territories attending.
The trade fair from February 7 to 11 provides a platform for businesses to explore opportunities and showcase the latest products and services.
At Ambiente, the focus is on dining, living, giving, and working, with exhibitors presenting tableware, kitchen and household products, interior design concepts, premium gifts, and workplace solutions.
A key highlight this year is Interior Looks, which offers furniture manufacturers direct access to contract and hospitality business opportunities. European and German brands in furniture, lighting, and textiles are set to showcase their products, engaging with interior designers, architects, and contract specifiers for public spaces, hotels, and restaurants.
This year, 54 Vietnamese firms are participating as exhibitors at the trade fair, including Minh Long, Kim Giang Handicraft, Quang Vinh Ceramic, Thang Long Craft, and Duc Thanh Wood, and many others.
As the largest event at the Frankfurt venue and a unique one-stop shop worldwide for industry, retail, and contract business, the trio of trade fairs is expected to shape the future of the sector.
The global economic order is shifting, creating immense challenges for all market participants. Inflation, evolving consumer behavior, and market consolidation are putting both retailers and manufacturers under pressure.
Ambiente, Christmasworld, and Creativeworld form the most important international platform for the entire consumer goods industry and, as such, act as both an opportunity generator in uncertain times and a key driver for growth areas such as hospitality, design, and sustainability, said Detlef Braun, member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, the organizing unit.
Last year, the event drew around 4,000 exhibitors from 170 countries and territories and attracted about 96,550 visitors.
