HCMC – The Mekong Delta province of Long An has broken ground on the Prodezi Eco-Industrial Park (Prodezi EIP), a VND4.6-trillion project designed to attract sustainable manufacturing investment.

Covering 400 hectares in Ben Luc District, the park is being developed by Prodezi Long An JSC in collaboration with Huong Viet Holding. It is the first eco-industrial park in the province and among the largest in the Mekong Delta region.

Prodezi EIP will focus on high-tech and environmentally friendly industries, including electronics, automotive manufacturing, supporting industries, logistics, data centers, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence.

With its strategic location, modern infrastructure, and commitment to international environmental standards, the park is expected to become a key investment hub. Huynh Van Son, vice chairman of the Long An People’s Committee, emphasized that the project would generate thousands of jobs and significantly contribute to the province’s socio-economic growth.

The park will integrate renewable energy, water recycling systems, green-certified buildings, and biodiversity conservation initiatives. It will also feature an advanced energy management system to optimize the use of renewable energy and grid electricity.

Prodezi Long An JSC and Huong Viet Holding have signed a memorandum of understanding with Japan’s Toho Gas to provide utilities and services for the park and the adjacent LA Home residential area. Additionally, the project has partnered with Japan’s Chitose Group and TA Vital for wastewater treatment solutions.

Located next to the 100-hectare LA Home eco-urban area, Prodezi EIP has also begun constructing 400 social housing units for workers in LA Home.
