A new private tour offered by The Anam Mui Ne provides travelers with an immersive journey into the coastal town’s storied past, highlighting its vibrant fishing heritage, ancient Cham architecture, and traditional fish sauce craft.

The curated excursion includes stops at three prominent sites: the Mui Ne Fishing Village, the Po Shanu Towers, and the Fish Sauce Museum. The tour aims to offer a deeper understanding of Mui Ne’s cultural and historical significance through guided visits and interactive displays.

At the Mui Ne Fishing Village, visitors encounter a bustling scene of daily life where locals gather to trade fresh seafood. The beach is lined with hundreds of vividly painted fishing boats, reflecting a centuries-old lifestyle that continues to thrive.

Next on the itinerary is the Po Shanu Towers, a set of red-brick structures perched on Ba Nai Hill. Constructed in the late 8th century during the Champa Kingdom era, the towers stand as some of the few remaining examples of Cham architecture in the region.

The final stop, the Fish Sauce Museum, features 14 interactive exhibits detailing the town’s 300-year-old fishing and fish sauce-making traditions. Mui Ne is recognized as one of the birthplaces of Vietnam’s famed fish sauce industry.
