HCMC – The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham Vietnam), in partnership with the Australian Government and industry stakeholders, is organizing a multi-sector investment and trade tour aimed at Australian businesses seeking opportunities in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta.
The Mekong Delta Investment and Trade Discovery Tour (MIDT) will run from June 23 to 27, 2025, spotlighting three high-potential sectors: agriculture and aquaculture, green manufacturing, and renewable energy. The initiative seeks to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) by showcasing the economic potential of one of Vietnam’s most fertile and industrially evolving regions.
The first tour, focused on agriculture and aquaculture, will be held on June 23–24, with visits to Long An, Dong Thap, and Bac Lieu provinces. Participants will explore sustainable farming and aquaculture practices in a region vital to Vietnam’s food supply.
On June 26, the green manufacturing stream will guide investors through Long An and Dong Thap/Tien Giang provinces, where they will observe the growth of modern, eco-conscious industrial operations supported by local infrastructure and workforce capabilities.
The final tour on June 27 will center on renewable energy. Delegates will visit Can Tho City, Ben Tre, and Long An provinces to learn about solar, wind, and biomass energy projects and meet with key sector players.
The tour includes transportation from HCMC, meals, accommodation for overnight trips, and English-speaking guides. AusCham members are eligible for a 50% discount.
Registration is open until June 13, 2025. For more information, click here.
