HCMC – Lam Dong Province, in collaboration with a consortium of investors, began work today, June 29, on the first phase of the Bao Loc-Lien Khuong Expressway.
The project, executed under a public-private partnership, involves T&T Infrastructure Investment and Development Co. Ltd., Futa Group Investment Corporation, and Phuong Thanh Transportation Construction and Investment JSC.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, a member of the Politburo, said Bao Loc-Lien Khuong is a critical section of the Dau Giay-Lien Khuong Expressway.

This 74-kilometer section is a vital component of a modern transportation corridor linking southern Vietnam’s key economic zones with Lam Dong’s Dalat City and the Central Highlands.
“The Bao Loc-Lien Khuong Expressway is a strategic piece that completes the Dau Giay-Lien Khuong corridor, forming a robust and modern transport backbone,” said Binh. “It will resolve chronic congestion and bottlenecks on National Highway 20, unlocking economic potential across hundreds of kilometers.”
The expressway is expected to reduce travel time and enhance the efficiency of other underway expressway sections like Dau Giay-Tan Phu and Tan Phu-Bao Loc.
The Dau Giay-Lien Khuong Expressway is a strategic artery connecting Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Bao Loc, Dalat. It is poised to drive economic growth and regional integration, positioning Lam Dong as a hub for tourism, agriculture, and logistics.
