HCMC – Acecook Vietnam, in collaboration with the National Fund For Vietnamese Children, organized a “Happy Journey” trip for 40 disadvantaged students today, July 4, as part of its long-running corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable children across the country.

The students, selected from eight provinces including Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Ha Tinh, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, An Giang, and Can Tho, toured the company’s instant noodle production facility and met workers on site.

The event is part of the “Happy Noodle Package” project, launched in 2019 to support the development of children from special and difficult backgrounds. The program aligns with Vietnam’s national action plans for children in the 2012–2020 and 2021–2030 periods.

Since its inception, the project has provided assistance to tens of thousands of children across Vietnam, with total funding surpassing VND18.5 billion. Its scope has expanded from scholarships and school supplies to emergency relief, clean water infrastructure, and morale-boosting field trips for children in remote areas.

“This is a journey of joy, sharing and hope,” said Deputy Director of the National Fund For Vietnamese Children Nguyen Thi Hien. “Each child brings a story of perseverance and academic effort.”

Speaking with The Saigon Times, Kaneda Hiroki, general director of Acecook Vietnam, said he hoped the tour of the company’s production facility would inspire the children to consider future careers at Acecook. He added that the company remains committed to supporting children and the future of Vietnam.
