HCMC – The HCMC government on November 11 asked Thu Duc City, districts and enterprises in the city to enhance anti-pandemic measures to prevent the pandemic from breaking out again as it has become complicated over the past few days.
The city also asked the municipal anti-pandemic steering committee, departments and agencies to strictly comply with the Government’s Resolution 128 on safely and flexibly adapting to and effectively controlling Covid-19, and the city’s Directive 18 on the gradual economic recovery, the local media reported.
They must also follow anti-pandemic measures, such as quickly testing suspected cases, isolating Covid-19 cases and treating them effectively, along with stepping up the city’s socioeconomic recovery and development.
Inspections into the fight against the pandemic at agencies, organizations, enterprises, factories, hospitals, traditional wet markets, supermarkets, coach stations and airports should be strengthened.
Moreover, departments, agencies and localities were required to pay more attention to the handling of Covid-19 cases and impose heavy sanctions on those deliberately violating anti-pandemic regulations or posing a high risk of pandemic transmission.
Thu Duc City and districts under the HCMC jurisdiction must not be heedless and subjective. Instead, they must regularly review and assess their pandemic transmission risks and flexibly adjust anti-pandemic measures if needed to prevent the pandemic from spreading widely.
They were also assigned to review their medical manpower to establish pop-up healthcare stations and improve their medical services.
Meanwhile, the local healthcare sector must take the initiative in preparing and promptly providing medicines to Covid-19 cases treated at home.
