HCMC – Gia Lai Province has approved a residential project in Cat Tien Commune with an estimated investment of more than VND1.8 trillion.

The Nam De Gi Residential Area will cover over 15 hectares and is designed to house around 1,100 residents, the provincial Investment Promotion Center said. Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh signed the investment decision on September 5.

The project will include 6.1 hectares of residential land with 312 units, comprising 196 terraced houses and 116 villas. Homes will be delivered with basic structures and finished exteriors.

It will also provide 3,700 square meters of land for commercial and service facilities, including hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues up to five stories high. Another 1,700 square meters will be set aside for a kindergarten and community center, while nearly 16,700 square meters will be used for parks and green areas.

Infrastructure development will cover roads, parking, water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment, electricity and telecommunications.

Part of the project site overlaps with land designated as a protective forest. The investor is required to assess the forest area and follow legal procedures for land-use conversion.
