From advancing education and healthcare to protecting the environment and supporting vulnerable groups, the company’s journey of community engagement demonstrates a deep commitment to sustainable growth.
Empowering education through technology
One of the strongest pillars of DXC Vietnam’s community engagement is its focus on education. Recognizing that technology is a powerful equalizer, the company has launched several initiatives to bridge the digital divide.
In October 2024, DXC Vietnam donated 20 desktop computers to Ly Nhon Primary School in Can Gio and an additional 10 to An Giang Province, benefiting students in two local schools. These contributions were made under the DXC Digital Futures Program, which redistributes technology equipment to underserved communities. By enhancing digital access, the program empowers students to gain valuable skills and opens doors to new opportunities in a fast-changing world.
The momentum continued in August 2025, when DXC Vietnam presented 20 laptops to Long Binh Primary and Secondary School in Dong Thap, along with two water filtration systems for nearby schools. Just a month later, the company supported the “Computers in Hand” program by donating 10 laptops to students of the University of Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as 10 more to Phong Nam School in Vinh Long, where a new computer room was established. These initiatives underline DXC Vietnam’s belief that education, when supported by access to digital resources, can change lives and drive long-term progress.
In January 2025, DXC Vietnam and Shinhan Life Vietnam joined hands to support the SOS Children’s Village Ben Tre. Shinhan Life Vietnam sponsored a new playground, while DXC Vietnam donated eight laptops to enhance the children’s learning environment. This joint effort brings the children both safe spaces to play and modern tools to learn and grow.
These initiatives reflect DXC’s holistic approach to child development, ensuring that disadvantaged children are given opportunities to both learn and thrive. By combining digital access with recreational infrastructure, DXC Vietnam fosters a healthier and more balanced environment for the next generation.
Supporting health and well-being
Healthcare has also been a central focus of DXC Vietnam’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) journey. In May 2025, the company collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients to fund cataract surgeries for 170 underprivileged individuals across Ben Tre, Binh Phuoc, and Lam Dong provinces. Beyond restoring sight, this initiative gave patients renewed independence and quality of life. Grocery packages were also distributed, further easing the burden on families in need.
Blood donation is another tradition deeply embedded in DXC Vietnam’s culture. In June 2025, 60 employees participated in a donation drive organized by REE, in addition to the annual Blood Donation Day held by the Saigon Times Group and HCMC Blood Donation Center. These acts, though simple, reflect a powerful message: sharing blood is sharing life.
The company’s compassion extends to holiday seasons as well. During Lunar New Year 2025, DXC Vietnam supported multiple initiatives — providing Tet gift packages and scholarships in Tra Vinh, and sponsoring the “Compassionate Tet” program in HCMC’s Binh Chanh District with shopping vouchers and access to health consultations. Together, these efforts brightened the holiday for hundreds of families and reinforced the spirit of community togetherness.
Responding to disasters with solidarity
DXC Vietnam has also demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity in times of crisis. In September 2024, employees raised VND270 million to support communities in northern Vietnam devastated by Typhoon Yagi. The donation, delivered to the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, funded relief and recovery efforts for affected families.
Beyond Vietnam, DXC Vietnam extended its compassion internationally. In April 2025, the company contributed VND260 million to support earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar, reflecting its global outlook on humanitarian responsibility.
These contributions highlight DXC’s commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen — one that stands with communities in times of hardship, offering not only financial support but also empathy and encouragement.
Protecting the environment
Sustainability is incomplete without environmental stewardship, and DXC Vietnam has consistently engaged in initiatives to protect natural resources. On Earth Day in April 2025, employees participated in a clean-up campaign at Can Gio Mangrove Forest, one of HCMC’s vital ecosystems. Volunteers removed waste carried in by tides, helping safeguard biodiversity and raising awareness about the importance of environmental preservation.
This activity, though local in scope, reflects a broader commitment: DXC Vietnam recognizes that protecting the environment is essential to ensuring sustainable growth for future generations.
