The Hue International Tea Festival 2025 showcased an impressive cultural milestone, marking the first time the ancient imperial capital of Hue hosted a specialized tea festival at an international level. Held last week in the historic citadel, the event became a global hub for tea culture, where artisans, experts, producers, and tea enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the essence of Vietnamese and international tea arts.

The festival drew 24 domestic and international organizations to participate in exhibitions and demonstrations. It featured the attendance of many tea masters, researchers, performing artists, and professionals in the tea industry. The event welcomed around 2,500 visitors who came to explore and enjoy the diverse programming.

As part of the festival, the Tea Exhibition displayed a range of products from traditional to modern, including sparkling tea, tea cocktails, tea-extracted cosmetics, and complementary dishes. The “Teatender – Modern Tea Mixing” competition highlighted the local specialty Truoi tea, along with performances of tea art and cultural exchanges among participants.

The “Mind-Nourishing Tea” sessions, themed “Let’s Drink Tea – The Journey to Reconnect,” and the lively reenactment of the “Imperial Tea Ceremony” provided immersive experiences deeply rooted in history and culture.
