Renowned French designer Philippe Starck has made his debut in Vietnam through Nhà Estate, a beachfront residential development in Ho Tram, marking his first collaboration on a housing concept in the country.
The project, developed by Larfa Properties and AppleTree Group, introduces a design vision that blends contemporary architecture with a strong respect for nature and local cultural identity.
Situated on a peninsula between the Ray River and the sea, Nhà Estate will feature 38 private beachfront villas designed to integrate closely with the natural landscape. Conceived as a “living village,” the development emphasizes open spaces, natural light and a strong connection to water and greenery.
According to the project’s concept, each residence is intended to appear as though it emerges naturally from the surrounding terrain, reflecting Starck’s human-centered design approach.
In addition to the villas, the development will include shared amenities such as a beach club, dining venues and communal spaces aimed at balancing privacy with social interaction.
Developers say the project reflects the rising appeal of Ho Tram as an upscale coastal destination. Located about two hours from HCMC, the area has attracted attention for its relatively untouched beaches and natural environment, with new developments increasingly emphasizing quality and long-term living value.
