HCMC – A fire erupted at a warehouse of a wood processing firm in the Nam Tan Uyen industrial park in Binh Duong Province’s Tan Uyen Town in the wee hours today, March 1.
As there were inflammable materials in the warehouse, the blaze quickly spread and engulfed the facility, according to the provincial Police Department’s Fire Fighting and Prevention Division.
After being notified of the fire, the Binh Duong Police Department dispatched 12 fire trucks and 70 firefighters to the scene. Over 30 minutes after it started, the blaze was brought under control.
No casualties were reported, but the 400-square-meter warehouse and many assets inside were gutted. The police are determining the cause of the fire.
