HCMC – BAF Vietnam Agricultural JSC (BAF) on March 15 relieved Phan Ngoc An of his post as board chairman at BAF and appointed Truong Si Ba to the post the same day.
Ba, aged 55, currently serves as board chairman and general director of agricultural firm Tan Long Group, which was established in 2000 and operates in the fields of supplying materials for animal feed production and producing animal feeds; producing and trading rice; importing and exporting nuts, among others, reported Dau tu Chung khoan newspaper.
Regarding BAF, it was founded in 2017 with the charter capital of VND30 billion. However, it constantly revised up its charter capital, at VND780 billion currently. It was officially listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange on December 3, 2021.
BAF ended the session today, March 18, down 0.93% to VND63,700.
As for the VN-Index of the HCMC market, it added 7.76 points, or 0.53% against the previous session at 1,469.1, with 228 advancers and 195 decliners. More than 795 million shares worth over VND24.2 trillion were transacted on the southern bourse, improving 10.92% in volume and 13.26% in value over the session earlier.
Trading on the northern bourse slowed down toward the close of the session. The HNX-Index gained 5.04 points, or 1.13% versus yesterday to end at 451.21, with 125 winners and 110 losers.
