Bamboo Airways to add holiday flights

HCMC – Vietnamese air carrier Bamboo Airways will increase domestic flights by 15% to meet the rising travel demand during the upcoming national holiday of Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1).

This year, the Reunification Day – International Labor Day holiday falls on a weekend, so Vietnamese revelers will have two more days off on Monday and Tuesday. The extended weekend break will certainly lead to an upsurge in travel.

The airline will focus on busy routes such as Hanoi-HCMC/Danang, and those to popular tourist destinations such as Phu Quoc Island, Nha Trang City and Quy Nhon City.

The carrier will also operate night flights after 8:00 p.m. to and from tourist destinations to fully meet the travel demand during the holiday.

For international air services, Bamboo Airways has also increased flights and launched new international services.

The airline adjusted up flights on the Hanoi-Narita (Japan) route to four per week and those on the Hanoi-Incheon (South Korea) route to three per week. Further, it is set to operate a daily flight on each route from June 1 onwards.

In addition, the airline has introduced new air links between Hanoi and Melbourne, Australia from April 27, between HCMC and Bangkok, Thailand from April 28, between HCMC and Singapore from April 29, and between Hanoi and Singapore from May 4.

The carrier is also ramping up efforts to expand its flight network to other regional destinations such as Laos and Cambodia.
