HCMC – Lam Dong Province has proposed Vietjet introduce a new route connecting Dalat City and Singapore.
This initiative aims to boost the socio-economic development of Lam Dong and meet the growing travel demand of residents and visitors.
In 2023 and the first half of 2024, Lien Khuong International Airport handled a daily average of 40 domestic flights, serving around 6,700 passengers.
Vietjet has been a significant contributor, operating round-trip domestic flights to various cities including Phu Quoc, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Vinh, Haiphong, Thanh Hoa, and Hanoi. The airline also offers international charter flights to destinations like Muan and Incheon in South Korea.
On June 20 this year, the Ministry of Transport officially designated Lien Khuong Airport as Lien Khuong International Airport, as per Decision No. 758/QĐ-BGTVT.
Currently, the airport supports international flights from five airlines: Pacific Airlines, Vietjet Air, Korean Air, Jeju Air, and Asiana Airlines, all operating routes between Da Lat and South Korea.
