HCMC – FLC Group has announced approving Vo Thi Thuy Duong’s request to quit her post as deputy general director at FLC, with effect from October 1.
Duong, aged 45, had served as deputy general director at FLC for more than five years. She was appointed to the post on May 11, 2017.
She is the third FLC deputy general director to resign this year. Prior to her, Vu Dang Hai Yen and La Quy Hien quit the post on July 14 and September 15, respectively. Most of them cited personal reasons for their resignation, the local media reported.
After Duong quit her post, the FLC management board is now left with six members, comprising general director Bui Hai Huyen and five deputy general directors.
FLC recently announced it had signed a contract with a new auditing firm, UHY Auditing and Consulting Co., Ltd, to audit its 2021 financial statements.
FLC has yet to release its financial statements as required by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam and the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE). This led to its FLC shares being under supervision and on the warning list by HoSE.
In the latest move, HOSE decided to suspend FLC from trading its shares on the southern bourse from September 9.
