HCMC – The Australian Consulate General in HCMC will organize the Australia-Vietnam Alumni Business Forum 2025 from June 5 to 6, bringing together senior business leaders, educators, and professionals who have studied in Australia to deepen bilateral economic cooperation.
Organized in partnership with Dear Our Community (DOC) and the Australia-Vietnam Leadership Dialogue (AVLD), the forum aims to leverage the expertise of Australian alumni to promote strategic business collaborations aligned with Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040.
Over two days, the event will address challenges and opportunities in four key sectors: education and skills, agriculture and food, digital economy, and green energy.
The main forum on June 5 will feature remarks from Australian Consul General Sarah Hooper and insights from prominent Vietnamese business leaders, including VNG’s Le Hong Minh, Savvycom’s Dang Thi Thanh Van, TMA Solutions’ Nguyen Huu Le, and Tona Syntegra Solar’s Nguyen Thi Anh Phuong.
The program includes sector-focused showcases and business matching sessions designed to catalyze partnerships.
On June 6, participants will visit leading local enterprises such as Organica, ACB Learning Hub, and MoMo to explore sustainability and innovation in practice.
“The forum is strategically focused on four pillars vital to both nations’ future prosperity,” said Australian Consul General Sarah Hooper. “These priorities underscore Vietnam’s position as an important partner in the region.”
Vo Ngoc Tuyen, founder of DOC, emphasized the forum’s role in “unleashing the power of the Australian alumni network” to drive economic growth and sustainability.
Attendance is limited to alumni of Australian universities. Interested individuals are encouraged to register their interest through the organizers here.
