HCMC – With the Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holiday approaching, bus travel from HCMC to popular cities and provinces is in high demand.

Trips to destinations like Dalat, Phan Thiet, and Nha Trang in central Vietnam are seeing a shortage of bus tickets, particularly on April 26 and 27.

The HCMC Department of Transport predicts an average of over 64,000 passengers per day and more than 3,000 bus trips during the five-day-long national holiday, a 26% increase in passenger volume compared to last year.

Mien Dong and Mien Tay coach stations in HCMC are gearing up for the surge in passenger traffic.

Travelers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance or explore alternative travel options, especially for popular routes during the peak holiday period.
