High blood lipid levels

High blood lipid levels, a.k.a. hyperlipidemia, cause high cholesterol levels with fatal complications like heart attacks or strokes, according to Suc khoe & Doi song news site. Blood lipids, or fats in the blood, including cholesterol and triglycerides, are important for the body to function normally. As high blood lipid levels increase the risk of serious health problems, blood lipid control is important to stay fit, especially in cold weather, when the fats in the blood are higher than usual. Total cholesterol includes HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and triglycerides. HDL-cholesterol is considered “good” as it helps protect the blood vessel wall. LDL-cholesterol is considered “bad” as it often accumulates on the artery wall, thus increasing the risk of coronary artery disease and strokes. If the LDL-cholesterol level is higher than 130mg/dL, the risk of cardiovascular diseases will be higher.
