Digital transformation is gradually changing how many markets are managed and operated, including the real estate market—a sector with a large scale and significant legal risks. However, unlike many other sectors, real estate still faces a familiar paradox: asset value continues to rise, yet legal information remains fragmented, poorly standardized, and difficult to verify. In this context, real estate identification codes—formally recognized for the first time in Vietnam’s legal system—are expected to serve as a key tool to address the challenge of improving transparency, standardizing data, minimizing disputes, and supporting safer transactions.
