The Business Leaders Forum 2022 is an important event jointly organized by the Australian Embassy, the Vietnam Business Coaliation for Women’s Empowerment (VBCWE) and Vietnam Economic Magazine amidst numerous challenges that are surfacing in the post-pandemic recovery. The event, themed “Resuscitating the human resource in the post-Covid-19 — Building inclusive workplaces”, featured speakers representing international organizations, and Vietnamese associations and enterprises. Ms Luu Thi Thanh Mau: CEO of Phuc Khang Corporation; Vice Chair, Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, was among speakers at a panel discussion who gave valuable opinions on resuscitating the human resource to help enterprises recover and develop.
As stated by Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau, during the economic recovery, promoting the culture of diversity, integration and inclusiveness plays a crucial role and is a must-achieve goal for most enterprises and organizations. Many studies have found noteworthy benefits of diversity and inclusiveness. Diversity and the mindset upholding difference and promoting integration have given rise to a space of safety and liberty that in turn nurtures creativity and consequently a happy working environment where individuals can grow themselves, develop their career and contribute to the enterprise’s sustainable development.
In discussions with other business leaders, the head of Phuc Khang Corporation stressed, “The culture of diversity and inclusiveness is the key for young entrepreneurs to comprehend the difference, and accept and respect the difference, which helps adapt themselves to the business environment, find an ideal working environment for free creativity; they will always feel respected and acknowledged for their efforts and achievements, and they will put themselves to new challenges for experiences and personal development, ready to make contribution and reposition themselves.”
Following discussions on developing the culture of diversity and integration and promoting the workforce, Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau and other speakers dug deep into issues of gender equality in business.
