HCMC – Nguyen Thi Nhu Loan, the CEO of Quoc Cuong Gia Lai, was arrested for allegedly violating regulations concerning the management and use of state assets, leading to loss and waste.
The Ministry of Public Security announced today, July 19, that the investigation agency has initiated criminal proceedings and issued a detention order against Nguyen Thi Nhu Loan.
This morning, police searched Loan’s residence on Tran Quoc Thao Street, District 3, and confiscated dozens of boxes of documents and papers for investigation.
This action is part of an expanded investigation into violations at the Vietnam Rubber Group, Ba Ria Rubber JSC, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and other related entities.
Police are expanding the investigation to clarify other violations by Quoc Cuong Gia Lai JSC and related entities and individuals, applying legal measures to recover assets for the State.
