HCMC – Ho Chi Minh City Infrastructure Investment JSC, whose CII shares are traded on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, has announced its plan to issue two bond lots worth a combined VND4.5 trillion.
If the plan is approved by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, the 10-year bonds will be issued at a face value of VND100,000 each.
They will carry an annual coupon of 10% for the first four years and have a floating rate for the remaining years. Their coupon will be paid every three months.
The first bond issue is expected to fetch over VND2.5 trillion, in which VND2.4 trillion will be used to buy stakes in Hanoi Highway Construction and Investment JSC or buy bonds issued by the company, and the remainder will be used to purchase bonds issued by BOT Ninh Thuan Province Company or invest in the company.
The second bond lot, whose value reaches nearly VND2 trillion, will be used to settle the CIIB2024009 and CIIB2124001 bond lots, which are worth a combined VND1,090 billion. And the rest will be poured into BOT Ninh Thuan Province Company.
CII closed the trading session today, April 4, up 2.31% against yesterday’s session, at VND15,500, and reported a matching volume of more than 6.6 million shares.
With 261 advancers and 139 decliners, the benchmark VN-Index of the HCMC bourse slid 0.83 point, or a fractional 0.08% versus the previous session, at 1,078.45, and ended its 10-session winning streak.
Trade on the southern bourse surged 25% in volume and 15% in value from the session earlier, with nearly 804 million shares worth around VND13.6 trillion changing hands, including 57.7 million shares valued at VND1.2 trillion traded in block deals.
Securities stock SSI took the lead by liquidity with a matching volume of 31 million, followed by HPG and STB with 19.8 million and 17.7 million shares changing hands.
The HNX-Index of the Hanoi Stock Exchange gained 0.25 point, or 0.12%, higher than yesterday’s reading, at 210.73, with 95 stocks rising and 73 others dipping.
The northern bourse recorded more than 92.3 million shares worth over VND1.2 trillion traded today.
