Coca-Cola Vietnam promotes waste classification in HCMC

HCMC – Coca-Cola Vietnam has donated 1,200 trash bins to over 100 schools, educational institutions, and training centers in HCMC to promote waste classification and sustainability in the city.

The VND2.3-billion project shows Coca-Cola Vietnam’s commitment to environmental protection and its vision of a World Without Waste.

The handover ceremony occurred at the Coca-Cola community support center, EkoCenter, in HCMC. It marked a significant milestone in environmental conservation efforts, involving the active participation of Linh Trung Ward residents in Thu Duc City.

The event featured interactive activities such as waste sorting demonstrations and the exchange of used bottles and cans for gifts.

Cao Thi Thien Phuc at the HCMC Department of Education and Training said, “By receiving the donation of 1,200 trash bins from Coca-Cola Vietnam, we hope to encourage more businesses to join hands in protecting the environment, and to raise awareness and minimize the use of plastic waste in our surroundings.”
