HCMC – Coteccons, a leading construction company in Vietnam, has signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with Microsoft Vietnam to drive innovation and enhance its construction industry value chain.

Through this strategic collaboration, Coteccons will leverage Microsoft’s technology and solutions to accelerate digital transformation in four key areas, including customer engagement, a secure modern workplace, operational optimization and product and service transformation.

With support from Microsoft, Coteccons will conduct a thorough evaluation of its current data center infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking and security systems.

Following the analysis of existing data center operations and vulnerabilities, the company will provide recommendations for enhancements.

The construction company plans to leverage the Microsoft Power Platform for business automation to provide better professional Design & Build solutions in the construction industry.

As part of the MoU, Coteccons will allocate resources to collaborate on and develop projects leveraging the strength of Microsoft technologies and solutions.

Meanwhile, Microsoft will train Coteccons’ employees, equipping them with the skills to effectively utilize, manage and maintain the system.

“Cloud and AI technology play a critical role in transforming the construction industry by reducing labor costs, increasing safety and improving the quality of the building’s design. By embracing our industry-proven cloud and AI technologies, Coteccons will be enabling construction companies to achieve incredible designs and buildings in Vietnam,” Nguyen Quynh Tram, country general manager of Microsoft Vietnam, said at the signing ceremony on May 30.
