HCMC – The Danang Steering Committee for Covid-19 infection prevention and control issued a decision dissolving the Hoa Vang Field Hospital under the municipal Department of Health today, October 2, as all the Covid-19 patients in the city had made a full recovery.
On September 23, Danang City’s final Covid-19 patient undergoing treatment at the field hospital in Hoa Vang District was declared free of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
The field hospital was established on July 31 to receive and treat Covid-19-infected patients following the committee’s decision, Phap Luat Online reported.
The hospital received 258 Covid-19 patients after the second wave of the coronavirus outbreak. The field hospital was the main Covid-19 treatment facility in Danang City.
Up to now, Danang City has gone 33 days without community transmission of Covid-19.
