DANANG – Japan’s Mikazuki Group on June 8 held the grand opening of its first hotel – entertainment – water park complex in Vietnam.
The VND3,900-billion Danang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa is also the first Japanese-invested five-star hotel to be operational in the central coastal city of Danang after three years of construction.
Speaking to the press at the event, Odaka Yoshimune, chairman of Mikazuki Group, a corporation with 60 years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry, said the hotel in the Danang Bay area would be attractive to Vietnamese and international guests.
“After this project, we hope to see other projects in the area, creating a standard tourism-service system here,” said Yoshimune, adding that Mikazuki will invest in the nightlife close to the hotel and a pedestrian flyover to help guests staying at the Danang Mikazuki hotel access the beach comfortably and safely.
The Danang Mikazuki hotel has 22 floors with 294 rooms. All the rooms are equipped with a private balcony and a bathtub.
A Japanese garden on the fourth floor is home to many ancient cultural symbols of the cherry-blossom country (Five-storied Temple, Sacred Bell and Nikko Toshogu Shrine, among others), while the rooftop infinity pool on the 22nd floor offers a panoramic view of the Danang Bay. The Mikazuki Water Park 365 is the largest indoor water park in central Vietnam that cannot be missed.
The hotel also has a fully-equipped gym on the ground floor and an authentic Japanese spa. Guests can also explore the secret of long life through the Onsen and its imported minerals.
