F&B expo opens in HCMC

HCMC – The second HCMC International Exhibition of Food and Beverages (HCMC FOODEX 2023) began to open at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, HCMC today, June 28.

The expo features nearly 250 booths of over 200 domestic and international enterprises in the food industry. Key participants include Vinamilk, Binh Tay Food, Vissan, Cholimex Food, and Satra Group.

FOODEX 2023 is organized by the HCMC Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in collaboration with the HCMC Food and Foodstuff Association. The event will be open to the public until June 30.

Businesses will introduce their products in various categories, including raw and semi-processed food products, processed food products, beverages, raw materials for food processing industries, as well as machinery and equipment for production, packaging, and preservation.

The expo will also host trade promotion activities such as workshops and seminars, focusing on the latest trends in the food and food processing industry. These activities aim to support businesses in finding new partners and expanding their markets.

A major highlight of HCMC FOODEX 2023 is the showcase of Vietnamese and international cuisines, presented by renowned culinary artisans, experts, and businesses.

Duong Anh Duc, vice chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, stated that this expo is a pivotal program to support the city’s food industry in overcoming challenges and revitalizing production activities.
