HCMC – The HCMC International Exhibition of Food & Beverages (HCMC FOODEX) 2024 kicked off yesterday, May 15, highlighting the vibrancy of the food processing industry with nearly 400 local and international exhibitors.
The four-day event is held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, with an expected attendance of 18,000 visitors.
Nguyen Van Dung, vice chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, said the F&B sector contributes 14-15% to the city’s industrial production value. He said HCMC FOODEX is geared towards promoting high-quality products and brands.
The exhibition features over 500 booths displaying a wide variety of raw and processed foods, beverages, ingredients, machinery, and eco-friendly products. It includes business-to-business (B2B) sessions to facilitate connections between producers, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and international buyers.
