HCMC – Domestic retail prices of gasoline saw little change versus 10 days ago, while the prices of oil products, except for heavy fuel oil, fell slightly starting at 3 p.m. today, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
The current price of RON95-III gasoline is VND23,787 per liter, down by VND80. E5 RON92 bio-gasoline now sells for VND22,670 per liter, down by VND40.
Diesel oil and kerosene are priced at VND24,800 and VND24,640 per liter, sliding VND180 and VND100, respectively. Meanwhile, heavy fuel oil rose by VND25 per kilogram at VND14,780.
During this fuel price adjustment, the ministries decided to impose surcharges on E5 RON92 and RON95 gasoline at VND250 and VND200 per liter to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund.
The surcharge on each liter/kilogram of diesel and heavy fuel oil is the same at VND300.
Meanwhile, local fuel traders are not allowed to tap the fund.
