HCMC – Binh Thanh Import – Export Production & Trade JSC (Gilimex) announced to issue more than 31.65 million shares for dividend payment for fiscal 2023.
The company plans to offer a stock dividend of 45.25%, which means shareholders will get 45.25 new shares for every 100 shares held.
The issue, worth over VND316.5 billion, will be funded by the earnings the company had retained by December 31, 2023, according to its audited earning report.
The distribution is expected to take place in the third or fourth quarter of 2024, pending approval from the State Securities Commission.
Gilimex’s first-half revenue was VND366.6 billion, down by 13.9% over the same period last year. However, the company reversed its loss of VND44.3 billion in the first half of 2023 to post VND8.8 billion in profit in 2024.
The company attributed the improved results to a shift in its product portfolio and contributions from its industrial real estate business.
