HCMC – The Land Fund Development Center of Me Linh District in Hanoi City is completing procedures to auction 106 land lots of four projects in July and August.

The proceeds from the auctions of these land lots covering a combined 11,080 square meters are estimated at VND503 billion, the local media reported.

These land lots, located in Chi Dong Town and Thanh Lam Commune, have a reserve price of VND27.1 million per square meter.

The Me Linh land fund development center sees high potential for developing these projects as the site clearance and infrastructure construction processes have been completed and these land lots are adjacent to the Quang Minh industrial zone and schools. Besides, they lie on the main route in the district.

As planned, from now until the end of the year, Me Linh District will complete the site clearance for an area of 2.3 hectares of land related to 139 households in Kim Hoa, Lien Mac, Tam Dong and Tien Phong communes and Quang Minh Town.

The district also aims to successfully auction six projects covering three hectares to collect some VND565 billion for the State budget.

Apart from expediting the 2022 auction plan, the center is focusing on land clearance for seven new projects covering 16.6 hectares in Tien Thang, Hoang Kim, Tien Thinh, Trang Viet, Chu Phan and Tam Dong communes in preparation for the 2023 auction program.

In the first half of 2022, Me Linh District completed clearing 21.3 hectares of land for 14 projects with 746 land lots.
