HCMC – HCMC has asked all its residents who returned to the city from Danang City from July 1 to make health declarations and have their samples tested for Covid-19.

The HCMC Center for Disease Control announced on July 27 that it is calling on these residents to make health declarations and is taking their samples for testing in 24 districts across the city, Tuoi Tre Online reported.

The municipal center also advised those who are developing symptoms of Covid-19 to wear face masks and go to hospitals to give health declarations and for testing. Apart from this, these persons have been advised not to travel via public transport.

The individuals who had close contact with those who tested positive for Covid-19 or visited one of the three Danang-based hospitals, including Danang Hospital, Danang C Hospital and Danang Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital, should contact healthcare centers or the municipal center for guidance.

Others have been advised to self-quarantine at home and contact the districts’ healthcare centers for a medical checkup and Covid-19 testing.

Those who have stayed in HCMC for over 14 days since they returned from Danang City have been advised to remain in home quarantine.

Meanwhile, some residents who have yet to be tested should stay calm and strictly self-isolate at home, according to the center.
