HCMC – To bolster its tourism sector, HCMC has optimized the operations of the tourist hotline that offers visitors information, support, and even security assistance.
Hotline 1022 branch number 8 serves as a one-stop resource center for tourists seeking information on attractions, dining options, the latest tourism offerings, and lodging and shopping deals in HCMC.
This initiative aims to provide tourists exploring the city with a reliable source of guidance and assistance.
Operated by the city’s Tourism and Information and Communications departments, the hotline with five operators per shift is available seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Beyond offering practical guidance, the hotline also functions as a safety net for tourists. Operators are equipped to address security concerns, ranging from property disputes to personal safety issues, by connecting callers with the relevant authorities and providing direct assistance when necessary.
To access the hotline, tourists can dial 1022, followed by extension 8. The service caters to both local and mobile calls, including those originating from outside the city with the 028 area code prefix.
In the event that the line is busy or unavailable, tourists can leave a voicemail, which will be promptly attended to during the next working shift.
