CMC – Five industrial manufacturing exhibitions were inaugurated at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, HCMC, on July 19.

Two of the five large-scale expos, Vietnam ETE and Enertec Expo 2023, commenced on the morning of July 19 and run until July 21.

The 16th International Exhibition on Electrical Technology and Equipment (Vietnam ETE 2023) and the 13th International Exhibition on Products, Technologies of Energy Saving and Green Power (Enertec Expo 2023) are endorsed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the HCMC People’s Committee.

The events are co-held by the HCMC Center of Supporting Industries Development and C.I.S Vietnam Advertising and Exhibition JSC.

The exhibitions, spanning an area of 10,000 square meters with over 500 booths, are attended by 350 leading domestic and international brands, with notable participation from China, Germany, France, the U.S., Japan, and South Korea. An estimated 20,000 people are expected to visit the events.

Prominent companies in the electricity and power industries, including HCMC Power Corporation (EVN HCM), Gelex, Cadisun, China Southern Power, and China General Nuclear Power, among others, are participating in the expos.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said, “The event will provide an opportunity for businesses to engage in trade promotion activities, technology transfer, investment attraction, and business expansion.”

Several conferences, networking activities, and business-to-business sessions will be held during the events, along with a seminar focusing on energy-saving practices and green power and a factory visit in HCMC and neighboring provinces.

The other three expos are taking place at Hall B of SECC, namely the Vietnam International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE), the Vietnam International Gifts and Housewares Expo (IGHE), and the Vietnam International Baby Products and Toys Expo (IBTE).

They feature a total of 550 booths and showcase 3,000 products, notably with the participation of 520 businesses in China. The three expos serve as a prominent platform facilitating market research and promoting cooperation between domestic and international enterprises.

IEAE, IGHE and IBTE will continue until July 21. The events are co-held by Vinexad, the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising company under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and China’s Chaoyu Expo.
