HCMC – FPT Software Japan has recently entered into a partnership agreement with Nippon Seiki, a global supplier of information display products for automobiles and motorcycles.
Under this collaboration, FPT Software Japan will serve as a software development partner for Nippon Seiki, focusing on developing platforms and applications for their motorcycle meters in the initial phase of the partnership.
FPT Software Japan aims to meet Nippon Seiki’s increasing market demands and shortage of automotive software engineers globally. The subsidiary of Hanoi-based FPT Corporation plans to assemble a team of hundreds of highly skilled software engineers by 2025, with a further plan to double staff by 2027.
This strategic alliance is expected to bring the latest innovation in human-machine interfaces, delivering high-tech and high-quality products to vehicle manufacturers and consumers worldwide, the Vietnamese software supplier said in a recent statement.
FPT Software Japan has already demonstrated its capabilities through previous unit testing projects with Nippon Seiki’s subsidiaries, showcasing its successful delivery outcomes and expertise.
In Japan, FPT Software Japan has recently opened an innovation hub in Tochigi Prefecture and a mobility hub in Shizuoka Prefecture. The firm has 18 years of experience operating in the Northeast Asian country with 16 offices.
