HCMC – HCMC has announced a cash reward program, in which individuals and organizations can receive a maximum of VND10 million for each tip that leads law enforcement agencies to uncover corruption in the city.
The program, backed by the HCMC Party Standing Committee, is aimed at incentivizing citizens to give information that helps combat corruption and negativity.
The city’s Steering Committee for Anti-corruption and Anti-Negativity, along with the Internal Affairs Committee of the HCMC Party Committee, will be responsible for managing and compensating informants.
These informants can be organizations or individuals residing in Vietnam, excluding those having anti-corruption duties and officials in organizations responsible for receiving corruption-related information.
Such information can be in different formats, including in writing, electronic files, PDF, video or audio recordings, either in person at the city’s Citizen Reception Board or the Internal Affairs Committee of the HCMC Party Committee, or through postal mail or email.
The identity of informants will be kept confidential and measures will be put in place to protect them.
