HCMC – The HCMC tourism authority is getting ready for the return of groups of tourists from China, as the northern neighbor has given the green light for the arrangement of group tours to Vietnam from March 15.
China’s move to resume outbound tours for groups of guests to Vietnam is what travel companies and tourism service providers have expected as it would quicken the pace of Vietnam’s and the city’s international tourism recovery, said Nguyen Thi Khanh, chairwoman of the HCMC Tourism Association.
According to Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, director of the HCMC Tourism Department, the city’s tourism sector has drawn up plans to welcome back Chinese tourists.
