HCMC – The HCMC government is committed to further refining its investment environment and accelerating administrative reforms to help businesses achieve double-digit growth.

Speaking at the High-quality Vietnamese Goods 2026 program announcement event on March 31, Bui Minh Thanh, vice chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, said the city is focusing on supporting innovation, digital transformation, and green development to bolster the competitiveness of local businesses.

Recognizing the business community as the engine of socio-economic growth, Thanh noted that the city is implementing synchronized solutions to navigate current economic headwinds. A key priority is enhancing the partnership between the city and the High-quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association to bridge the gap between local enterprises, regulators and global markets.

This collaborative effort aims to help Vietnamese brands meet international standards and integrate more deeply into global supply chains.

The 2026 ceremony marked a 30-year milestone of the program, honoring 581 enterprises for their persistence in quality-driven competition. National Assembly Vice Chairman Le Minh Hoan and economist Pham Chi Lan both highlighted that the next 30-year journey must transcend beyond just selling products to building global trust.

As international consumers become increasingly conscious, HCMC’s leadership reaffirmed its commitment to standing by businesses, promptly resolving obstacles, and creating a stable environment for sustainable, long-term expansion.
