HCMC – HCMC’s government has written to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism asking it to seek approval from the prime minnister for organizing a fireworks show to ring in the new year 2024, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
The fireworks would be displayed at two locations, with one being near the Saigon River Tunnel in Thu Duc City and the other at the Dam Sen Park in District 11.
It would last 15 minutes, from midnight to 12:15 a.m. on January 1, 2024. The
funding for this event will be sourced from the private sector.
