HCMC – Huawei has recently announced the winners of the second ICT Competition Vietnam this year, who will advance to the Asia-Pacific regional final held in February.

The competition, organized in partnership with the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), attracted over 1,000 students from universities and colleges nationwide.

Six students were selected as the winners, with Bui Quoc An from the Academy of Cryptography securing first place in the Cloud Track and Nguyen Triet from the University of Natural Sciences leading in the Network Track.

Huawei Vietnam CEO Macky Zhang said, “Vietnam has a wealth of young talent, and we are committed to supporting them in their endeavors. The ICT Competition is one of three key talent development initiatives that Huawei is implementing in Vietnam.”

As part of the competition, Huawei also organized a workshop at the University of Economic and Technical Industries. Over 200 students gained expert insights into emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, internet of things, cloud, and datacom.
