HCMC – Hue Central Hospital in the central city of the same name today, April 6, began work on its second international-standard hospital.
The first international healthcare facility of Hue Central Hospital was put into service in 2014, with 300 beds.
This time, nearly VND400 billion will be used for construction of the second international hospital and VND100 billion for medical equipment. The forthcoming hospital will also have 300 beds.
The project is slated for completion within 700 days.
Founded in 1894, Hue Central Hospital is Vietnam’s inaugural Western healthcare establishment. It presently operates as a top-tier hospital with three campuses, with over 5,000 beds and 4,100 employees.
Annually, the hospital provides examinations and treatments for nearly one million patients and conducts close to 50,000 surgeries.
