As the key highlight of the annual Hue Festival 2024, the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 commenced at the Kien Trung Palace within the Hue Imperial Citadel in Hue City on June 7. The week-long festival, themed “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development,” features a variety of dazzling, state-of-the-art activities.
This year’s opening night, held for the first time at the renovated Kien Trung Palace, showcased fabulous sound and light shows that creatively highlighted cultural heritage values.
According to the organizers, the year-long Festival Hue 2024, along with the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, aims to promote the image of the ancient capital by connecting historical and modern values.
