HCMC — Green Transition Consulting & Training, MinMax Green, and Thanh An Environment Technology Company will launch the Industry Tour 2025/2026 on September 25 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho to guide factories and industrial parks in Vietnam on decarbonization pathways.
The initiative comes as international buyers and regulators demand stronger carbon reduction strategies, transparent data, and measurable decarbonization plans from factories and industrial zones. Industry experts warn that without credible action, Vietnamese exporters risk losing access to key global markets.
The program is designed for factory managers, executives, and industrial park operators, and aims to provide practical strategies, technical solutions, and peer learning opportunities to accelerate the shift toward low-carbon production. The Industry Tour is co-hosted by partners under the Green Transition:Hub network, including the Institute for Circular Economy Development (ICED), Tekjoy, and Vinergy. The hub acts as a sustainability ecosystem in Vietnam, offering ESG-focused services to support businesses in meeting international climate and environmental standards.
The program will cover Vietnam’s manufacturing and supply chain outlook, guidance on greenhouse gas inventories, and step-by-step decarbonization planning. It will also highlight proven approaches for energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and product life cycle assessments. These tools, organizers say, can help enterprises cut costs, improve performance, and strengthen access to global markets.
“As Vietnam’s manufacturing sector adapts to global climate commitments, no company can achieve Net Zero in isolation,” said Bao Nguyen, co-founder and managing partner of Green Transition Consulting & Training. “Industry-wide collaboration is essential to build credible carbon records and secure competitiveness in global supply chains.”
The launch event in Can Tho also reflects its own sustainability commitment. It follows ISO 20121 sustainable event standards, using certified carbon offsets, energy-saving practices, low-waste operations, green transport, and eco-friendly catering.
Speakers include Nguyen Hong Quan, director of ICED at HCMC National University; Bao Nguyen, co-founder & managing partner of Green Transition; Nguyen Thi Tron, environment & GHG expert at MinMax Green; Nguyen Thanh Dung, sustainable construction expert at Green Transition; Ta Trung Thanh, co-founder & CEO of Vinergy; and Huynh Quang Minh, co-founder of Tekjoy.
The event will take place on September 25, 2025, at Van Phat Riverside Hotel, Can Tho. Registration is open at: https://forms.gle/SotuQiPmz5Rj5ZXJ9.
