HCMC – An International Kite Festival, featuring 100 kite varieties from 10 countries worldwide, will be held by the central coastal province of Quang Nam from July 25 to 28.
Nguyen Thanh Hong, director of the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, confirmed the details of the International Kite Festival 2024 today, July 4.
According to Hong, the festival, held in coordination with Hoiana Resort & Golf, will provide a new experience for tourists in the province.
The festival will take place from July 25 to July 28 at the beach near the Hoiana resort in Tay Son Tay Village, Duy Hai Commune, Duy Xuyen District. It will feature teams from 10 countries and territories, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Australia.
These teams will present special kite performances with around 100 types of kites in a colorful display. The festival’s highlight will be the LED kite performances, which will occur every night during the event.
