HCMC – Nguyen Van Binh, director general of the Department of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, has been detained on alleged charges of deliberately disclosing State secrets.
Police in Hanoi announced this morning, May 9, that they would initiate criminal proceedings against Binh, said local media reports.
Police are continuing to expand the investigation into the case.
Binh, aged 57, has been serving as director general of the Department of Legal Affairs since the beginning of 2020.
