HCMC – Authorities in Lang Son Province processed customs clearance for more than 5,300 automobiles during the Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holiday, the local media reported.
Of these vehicles, over 2,100 were transporting a total of 55,790 tons of fruit. Customs officers were busy throughout the five-day holiday period, particularly at Tan Thanh and Huu Nghi border gates within the Dong Dang–Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, where cargo vehicles often enjoy swift and seamless customs clearance.
No congestion issues were reported at Lang Son’s border checkpoints, ensuring efficient trade flows for agricultural products and other goods.
This smooth flow of goods was maintained through proactive measures taken by authorities, including timely communication with businesses and cargo owners regarding customs clearance schedules.
