HCMC – The retail prices of gasoline and oil products rose sharply by VND722-801 per liter or kilogram from 3 p.m. on February 25, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance.
Specifically, bio-fuel E5RON92 soared VND722 per liter to VND17,031, while RON95 petrol is now priced at VND18,084 per liter, up VND814, the local media reported.
The retail prices of diesel oil, kerosene and heavy fuel oil also rose by VND702-801 per liter or kilogram to VND13,843, VND12,610 and VND13,127, respectively.
Local fuel traders were allowed to tap the national fuel price stabilization fund at VND2,000 for each liter of E5 bio-fuel sold and VND1,150 for each liter of RON95 petrol.
They can also get VND850 for each liter of diesel oil, VND900 for kerosene and VND800 for each kilogram of heavy fuel oil sold from the fund.
