HCMC – The Ministry of Planning and Investment has established three inter-agency task forces to inspect and resolve problems with the disbursement of public investment capital this year.
The focus is on key infrastructure projects, including expressways and coastal roads.
The inspections will last from May until the end of June. Local authorities are required to report, provide information, and assign officials to coordinate with the inspection teams.
The inspection teams comprise representatives from the following agencies: the National Assembly Finance and Budget Committee, the National Assembly Economic Committee, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and related organizations.
The three teams will work with localities and conduct on-site inspections of projects; evaluate, compile, and analyze the causes of difficulties encountered during the implementation of investment projects.
